Those candidates who have served as Asst. Sub Inspector of Police / Police Constable / Police Naik / Police Havaldar for continuous service in the Jurisdiction of Maharashtra Government Home Department only is eligible to appear for the MPSC PSI examination. These candidates with the below qualifications may be eligible to apply for the SI posts in MPSC:
1) Graduate Degree in Any Stream from a Govt. Recognized institute with a minimum of 4 years of continuous service.
2) Passed HSC from a Govt. of Maharashtra Recognized Institute or equivalent qualifications with a minimum of 5 years of continuous service.
3) Passed SSC from a Govt. of Maharashtra Recognized Institute or equivalent qualifications with a minimum of 6 years of continuous service.
The candidates with the above qualifications within the Age limits of 35 years to 40 years are only eligible to apply for these posts.

The application fee for Unreserved Category Candidates is Rs. 800/- and for SC / ST / EWS, Rs. 544/-. The fees once paid will not refunded.

The eligible candidates will be required to answer a Pre-Examination, to qualify to anwere the Mains Exam. After clearing the pre-exam, the candidates must register for the mains exam, the option to register for the Main Exam, will be available in the Individual Candidates profiles to those candidates who have successfully cleared the pre-exam.
Once the the Registration for the Main Exam is available candidates will be able to choose the Centre of the Exam from the list of available Exam centres. Based on the scores of the Main Exam, the candidates will be eligible to answer the Physical Test. The Physical Test schedule will be populated on the MPSC official website and the individual candidates will be notified in their MPSC profiles.
The final Merit list of the selected candidates will be uploaded to the MPSC website. The candidates must check the notifications on this website to keep updated about the recruitment.

1) Can I apply for the MPSC PSI recruitment without experience?
Ans: No. Only those candidates who have served as Asst. Sub Inspector of Police / Police Constable / Police Naik / Police Havaldar for a continuous period in the Jurisdiction of Maharashtra Government Home Department only are eligible.
2) What will be the Scale of Pay to the selected PSI under this recruitment?
Ans: The Scale of Pay will be S-14 with basic pay range Rs. 38,600 – Rs. 1,22,800/-
3) Is there any offline mode of payment for the MPSC fee?
Ans: Yes. The candidates can generate challan and pay through any SBI Bank branch.
4) Can I request for postponement of the Physical Test in PSI MPSC Recruitment?
Ans: Only on rare medical grounds if permitted by authorities.
