OSSSC Recruitment 2024 – Selection Procedure:
The candidates after successfully submitting the online applications, will be called to attend examinations. The tentative dates of examinations are already listed above in the dates column. The Provisional Admission Card, containing details such as the exam date, time & venue will be uploaded on the official website. The candidate may download the Admission Card by logging in using a User ID and password. The candidates are requested to timely visit the official website to keep note of important notifications about the posts.
The CRE will be comprised of 3 Phases of testing for candidates as stated below:
- Preliminary Examination: This will be an MCQ type in OMR/CBRT mode meant for screening test. Based on the performance in this exam, the candidates will be shortlisted at @5 times the no. of vacancies as per merit and will be called to attend Main Examination.
- Main Examination: This will be an MCQ type in OMR/CBRT mode. Based on the performance in this exam, the candidates will be shortlisted at @3 times the no. of vacancies as per merit and will be called for the Practical Skill Test.
- Practical Skill Test: The candidates will be tested with Basic Computer Skills to qualify for the final merit list. The candidates qualifying in the Practical Skill Test will be shortlisted at@ 125% of the no. of Vacancies posted. These candidates will be called for Physical Documents Verification.
The final Merit list of selected candidates will be based on their performance in the Practical Skill Test. The district-wise Provisional Selected list will be published on the department website.
