Goa Public Service Commission Recruitment 2024: The Constitution of India creates the Goa Public Service Commission to advise the State Government in matters of State Civil Services. Its major functions are the recruitment of suitable candidates for the various posts recommended by Government departments by conducting exams/skill tests/interviews etc. GPSC conducts recruitment of Grade A and Grade B staff to the State Government Departments as per their requirement. The GPSC has the power only to recommend the selected candidates to the government department. The final recruitment will be commissioned by the departmental selection committee.

Goa Public Service Commission Recruitment 2024 Post Details
The GPSC has posted requirements for the below posts on a regular basis. Interested candidates must check the post details below.
1) Professor – Electrical & Electronics Engineering (01-UR) / Computer Engineering (01-UR) / Information Technology (02-UR): These posts are vacant at Goa College of Engineering. A candidate must have a Ph.D. with BE/BTech and ME/MTech in the relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Teaching / Research / Industry out of which 5 years must be at a level of Associate Professor. The Pay Scale will be of Level 14 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + GP 10,000/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to any of these posts must be within 45 years of age.
2) Associate Professor in Information Technology (01-UR, 01-OBC): Applicants must have a Ph.D. with Degree in BE/BTech and ME/MTech in the relevant field with a minimum of 05 years of experience in the Teaching / Research / Industry out of which 2 years must be post Ph.D. The Pay Scale will be of Level 13-A1 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + GP 9,000/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants must not exceed 45 years of age.
3) Assistant Professor in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering (01-UR): A candidate must have a BE/BTech and ME/MTech in the relevant field. The Pay Scale will be Level-10 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + GP 6,000/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to this post must be within 45 years of age.
4) Assistant Professor (Chemistry), Science & Humanities (01-UR): The candidate must possess an M.Sc. or M.A. in Humanities and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Asst. Professor conducted by UGC – Council for Scientific & Industrial Research or similar test accredited by the UGC. The Pay Scale will be Level-10 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + GP 6,000/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
5) Principal – Goa College of Home Science (01-UR): This post is vacant under the Directorate of Higher Education. The candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline, and a Professor / Associate Professor with 15 years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges & other Higher Educational Institutes. Also, the candidate must have 10 Research Publications in peer-reviewed journals approved by Goa University / UGC listed journals & a minimum of 110 Research Score as stated in Minimum Qualifications for appointment of teachers & other academic staff in colleges.
The Pay Scale will be Level-14 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 37,400 – 67,00 + GP 10,000/- + Special Allowance of Rs.4500/-. Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
6) Junior Orthopaedic Surgeon – Directorate of Health Services (01-UR): A candidate must have a recognized Medical Qualification included in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Also, a PG Degree/Diploma is required in the concerned specialty. In the case of candidates with a PG Diploma, the experience of 2 years in the specialty concerned, PG Diploma is mandatory. The Pay Scale applicable to the selected candidate will be Level-10 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + GP 5,400/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
7) Consultant Anaesthesia – Goa Medical College (01-UR): The qualification required for this post is an M.B.B.S. from a recognized Medical College with a PG(MD) in Anaesthesia and candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India. At least 18 months of experience in Plastic Surgery and burns in a recognized hospital is desirable for this post. The Pay Scale applicable to the selected candidate will be Level-11 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + GP 6,600/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
8) Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology – Institute of Psychiatry & Human Behaviour (02-UR): To apply for these posts, a candidate must have a Masters Degree in Philosophy in Clinical Psychology, recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Along with a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology and 5 Years experience as an Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Clinical Psychology is required. The Pay Scale applicable to the selected candidates will be Level-11 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + GP 6,600/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
9) Vice-Pricipal / Headmasters – Government High / Higher Secondary Schools (12-UR, 02-ST, 05-OBC, 02-EWS): Masters’s Degree with Degree in Teaching / Education as prescribed for the Secondary School Teachers along with 5/3 years experience in Secondary/Higher Secondary School or Teachers Training Institute. Also, 2 years of Administrative/Inspection experience is required. The Pay Scale applicable to the selected candidate will be Level-10 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + GP 5,400/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
10) Scientific Officer – Department of Science & Technology & Waste Management (01-UR): B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Biology with 5/3 years experience in the relevant field is required by the candidates applying to the post of Scientific Officer. The Pay Scale applicable to the selected candidate will be Level-10 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + GP 5,400/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
11) Assistant Superintending Archaeologist – Department of Archaeology (01-UR): A candidate with a minimum 2nd Class Degree in Indian History or Archaeology with an Indian Classical language subject at the Degree level with a minimum of 3 years experience in the field of Archaeology is eligible to apply for this post. The Pay Scale applicable to the selected candidate will be Level 7 with a Salary Ranging from Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 + GP 4,600/- (Pre-Revised). Applicants to the post must be within 45 years of age.
