1) Section Officer Group “B” (01-UR): The post is declared under Gazetted head. The pay scale applicable is under the pay band level 7. The starting basic salary per month will be Rs. 44,900/- as per the current package for this post. Other allowances applicable will be implied timely as per the available rules.

2) Under Secretary Group “A” (01-UR, 01-PwBD): The post is gazetted in group A. The reserved post is for the PwBd candidates with blindness and low vision. This group A post will be under pay matrix level-10 and Basic Salary will be Rs. 56,100/-. Other allowances applicable will be implied timely as per the available rules once the post is relarised.

Any person with the following qualifications and experience can apply for the post. The qualification necessary to apply for this post is a Degree in Law from a Govt. recognized University. The candidate must be a Practicing Lawyer with experience of a minimum 3 years. He must be well versed with the procedures of the Legislature Secretariat and Law Constitution. The major role will be in framing new rules and laws in the state matters as and when required by the State Home Secretary.
