a) Electrical Section: Senior Section Engineer: BE in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from an AICTE-approved institute. The pay level be Level-7 with initial Basic Pay of Rs. 44900/-.

Technician – III: SSC + ITI in Electrician / Wireman / Mechanic trades recognized by NCVT / SCVT. The pay level be Level-2 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 19900/-.

Asst. Loco Pilot: SSC + ITI in Electrician / Armature & Coil Winder / Electronics Mechanic / Fitter / Turner trades recognized by NCVT / SCVT. OR SSC+ Apprenticeship completed in above trades OR Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering from an AICTE-approved institute. The pay level be Level-2 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 19900/-.

b) Civil Section: Senior Section Engineer: BE in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-approved institute. The pay level be Level-7 with initial Basic Pay of Rs. 44900/-.

Track Maintainer: 10th passed from a Govt. recognized Board. The pay level be Level-1 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 18000/-.

c) Mechanical Section: Technician III: SSC + ITI in Welder/ Painter / Mechanic Automobile / Deisel Mechanic / Fitter / Tractor Mechanic trades recognized by NCVT / SCVT. OR SSC+ Apprenticeship completed in above trades. The pay level be Level-2 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 19900/-.

d) Operating Section: Station Master: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. The pay level be Level-6 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 35400/-.

Goods Train Manager: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. The pay level be Level-5 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 29200/-.

Pointsman: 10th passed from a Govt. recognized Board. The pay level be Level-1 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 18000/-.

e) Signal & Telecommunication: SSC + ITI in Electrician / Wireman / Electronics Mechanic trades recognized by NCVT / SCVT. OR SSC+ Apprenticeship completed in above trades. OR 10+2 with Physics & Maths. The pay level be Level-2 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 19900/-.

f) Commercial Supervisor: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. The pay level be Level-6 with an initial Basic Pay of Rs. 35400/-.
