Power Grid is responsible for transmitting about 50% of total power generated throughout India through its transmission network, with about 278 sub-stations operating under it. It also owns about a 1000KM telecom network in 500 cities across India. To enhance its further growth and infrastructure, Powergrid is looking to hire bright and committed Law Graduates to join as Trainee Law Officers.

Post Description: Law Officer Recruitment - Powergrid Vacancy 2024
The candidates interested in applying for the Law Officer Recruitment – Powergrid Vacancy 2024 must be a holder of a full-time 3-year LLB Degree or 5-year Integrated Law/LLB Degree with a minimum of 60% from a recognized Institution. The candidate must be not more than 28 years of age as of the last date of application submission.
Candidate must have applied to CLAT – 2025 before proceeding to apply for online application to Law Officer’s Recruitment in the Powergrid. The candidates shortlisted will go through the recruitment process as explained in this article. The selected candidates will be observed as Trainee Law Officers for an initial period of 1 year. In this period the selected candidate will draw a Basic Salary of Rs. 40,000/- along with other perks applicable.
After the successful completion of the training period, the candidates will be absorbed and regularised as Law Officers in the E-2 Level in the Executive cadre. The Salary range will be Rs. 50,000 – 3% – 1,60,000/- IDA.
The candidates must note that the selected candidates for the posts under the Law Officer Recruitment – Powergrid Vacancy 2024 will be required to execute a service agreement bond amounting to Rs. 5,00,000/- for those belonging to UR / OBC / EWS categories and for candidates belonging to SC / ST / PwBD candidates bond amounting to Rs. 2,50,000/-. All the applicants belonging to UR / OBC and EWS must pay the online application fee of Rs. 500/-. The ST / SC and PwBD category applicants are excused from the payment of application fees.
