GRSE Recruitment 2024: Pay Scale
The selected candidates will be paid as per the payment matrix given below. The candidate’s pay scale will vary from the 1st, the 2nd, and Probation periods as given in the table below.

GRSE Recruitment 2024: Online Application Process
- The candidates must have an email ID which they must retain for at least a year to receive any updates and information regarding the post recruitment.
- One-time registration is required for obtaining a login ID and a Password. Kindly register by using the registration link provided in the above table.
- Candidates must read the instructions given in the official publication and then fill in the details in the application form. Please ensure that all the details are as per the records.
- After filling out the form and payment of the applicable fees, candidates must take a print of the submitted online form.
- The copy of the online form along with the other certificates and testimonials must be sent to the departmental address as mentioned: Post Box No. 3076, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003, through ordinary post.
- The postal envelope must be superscribed as “GRSE EN No. 2024/02 (J)” and “Post (Trade) applied”.
GRSE Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
- The Applications will be initially shortlisted based on the candidate’s marks score in the qualifying examination.
- The shortlisted candidates will have to answer a 1) Written Test, 2) Practical Trade Test, 3) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
1) Written Test: A pen-paper OMR sheet-based exam will be held at the communicated venues. The exam paper will be a 100-mark objective type.
2) Practical Trade Test: The candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the Practical Trade Test. This test will be based on the qualitative requirements of the notified posts and will be uploaded on the website. The test will be qualifying in nature. Only those candidates who qualify in the documents verification round will be called for the Trade test in the ratio of 1:5 to the vacant positions. The qualified candidates for the Practical Trade Test will be shortlisted and the merit list will be drawn as per the marks scored in the Written Test.
3) The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates in the trades of Journeyman (Driver Material Handling), Journeyman (Rigger), and Journeyman (Crane Operator) posts will be carried out in addition to the Written Test and the Practical Trade Test.
