OPSC Post Graduate Teachers Recruitment 2024: Selection Procedure
The candidates after successfully submitting the online applications, will be called to attend a Competative Examination. This exam will be conducted as per the below stages. The detailed syllabus of examination for each subject is mentioned in the notification document.
The Competitive Examination will be comprised of 3 Papers of Objective (MCQ Pattern) type questions for candidates as stated below:
- Paper-I: This examination will be of 2 hours duration. There will be 100 MCQ-type questions (100 marks) with 50 questions based on General English (50 marks) and 50 questions based on General Knowledge for 50 marks.
- Paper-II: This examination will be of 2 hours duration. There will be 100 questions (100 marks) based on the concerned optional subject (Paper-I).
- Paper-III: This examination will be of 2 hours duration. There will be 100 questions (100 marks) based on the concerned optional subject (Paper-II).
There will be a negative marking scheme, such that 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The candidates who score min. 30 marks with aggregate, taking all 3 papers (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) will be qualified for The Personality Test & Interview as decided by the Commission. The Merit list of qualified candidates will be made considering 3 Times the number of vacant posts in the concerned subject.
Taking together the aggregate of marks scored in the Written Examination, Personality Test and interview, a merit list will be drawn of successful candidates, which will be forwarded to the Government for consideration of vacant posts.
