SAIL Recruitment 2024 – Pay Grade: The candidates selected for the post under, SAIL Recruitment 2024, shall be placed under min. pay scale of S1/S3 as listed below. The emoluments & other benefits for the selected Trainee candidates for the first 2 years of training will be as stated below as per the rules of the company. After their regularization, their pay will be upgraded to the S1 scale of pay.

SAIL Recruitment 2024 – Selection Procedure: The candidates after successfully submitting the online applications, will be called to attend a Computer Based Test (CBT). The candidates may be further called to appear for a Skill Test or Trade Test, depending on the number of applications. The Admission Card will be uploaded on the official website, containing details such as the exam date, time & venue. The candidate may download the Admission Card by logging in using a User ID and password. The candidates are requested to visit the official website to keep note of important notifications about the posts.
The Selection will be comprised of 3 Phases of testing for candidates as stated below:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The candidates will be required to answer a Computer Based Test to be able to be shortlisted for the post. The candidates will be shortlisted at a ratio of 1:3 times against the vacancies per post, as per merit list, and will be called to attend the Skill Test/Trade Test.
- Skill Test/Trade Test: The final selection will be based on the performance of candidates in CBT and Skill test. The merit list will be drawn as per the marks scored in the CBT and Skill Test.
